Welcome to Ants of Greece
This is a site about the myrmecofauna of Greece. So far 290 species and subspecies have been described in Greece making it the most species-rich country of Europe. The site is maintained by the Myrmecological Study Group at the Department of Biology and the Zoological Museum (ZMUA) of the University of Athens.
