| Abstract: | A new population of ants of the genus Proformica was discovered in Greece in the Mount Chelmos massif in the northern Peloponnese. The morphological characteristics of individuals are very different from the already known populations of Proformica in Greece ; these specimens are described here as representatives of a new species : Proformica chelmosensis n. sp.. |
